Probably the most famous of all Roman avenues, immortalized by Federico Fellini in the film 'La Dolce Vita', which depicted its wild, 1950's-style nightlife.
At its bustling hub is Piazza Barberina on the Porta Pinciana, flanked by hotels, clubs, shops and luxurious cafes.
Visitors to this street are first greeted by the ornate 'Fontana delle Api' (the fountain of bees) by Bernini.
Down past the second curve lays Palazzo Margherita, at one time the Queen's palace; it now houses the United States embassy.
